Moving into the new decade looking stronger than ever!
A round-up of 2019 at BSH Recycling.
2019 saw some massive changes at BSH and lots of new additions, with new people and plant to aid in the waste management operations BSH has in place. With 2 depots, a constantly growing fleet and the man power to match, BSH Recycling is striving to be the best in its field!
BSH opened in 2002, originally named Bourne Skip Hire, with one skip lorry and a smattering of skips, serving only the immediate clientele. From there, the business grew with the addition of new lorries and other services to include grab hire, tipper hire as well as
commercial waste collections, all to meet the needs of commercial and domestic customer alike.
Two new Volvo FL 18 tonne skip lorries joined the Peterborough Fleet at the beginning of May to aid in breaking the back of the depot’s workload to great effect. The two automatic lorries came on board with Boughton skip loading bodies to match the existing fleet which
BSH has been ran for several years.
June saw a third vehicle added to the Peterborough Fleet in the form of a Transit skip lorry, allowing the oldest member of the company’s fleet to be retired after years of hard work and punishment. The new, well specked Ford Transit with skip lifting gear allows customers with limited access to still dispose of their waste affordably and quickly with its slimmer design than the larger 18 tonne vehicle. July saw the arrival of our first Scania XT P410 fitted with a Palfinger Epsilon Grab arm and bucket, ideal for large inert waste clearance. In addition, the construction chassis is perfect for commercial sites with poor roads or access. With such success, a second Scania XT joined the fleet in December, fitted with Boughton RORO lifting gear and was put straight to work.
BSH Recycling aims to delivery cost effective services in an efficient manner to ensure satisfied customers that will come back to us time after time. As mentioned above, our organisation offers waste management solutions for all situations to both commercial and domestic customers. This means adapting and changing our services to suit the needs of each individual customer.
2020 is set to be another year of changes and additions with more plant and people to keep up with the waste needs of our service area. Focusing on doing our bit for both our operating area and further afield is paramount for BSH… delivering locally, thinking globally.
